Dave Spitz, CEO of California Strength is a USAW Senior International Coach and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. Dave brings 15+ years of coaching experience working with Olympians, NFL players and CrossFit Games athletes to see you through your training and competition goals.

Matt Chan

Matt first took up CrossFit in his late 20s as a way to help improve his endurance for his career as a firefighter. Matt has five top 10 finishes at the Crossfit games including the runner up slot in 2012. In 2020 Matt won season 2 of the Titan Games. Still a full time firefighter in Colorado, Matt is all around passionate about bringing his personal training program THRIVE to you. 

Kiley Miller

Kiley Miller, or Kiki, is a Nashville based fitness coach who has dedicated her life to showing people that fitness can enhance your life without running it. “I have a passion for coaching, training, and inspiring others to be their best. I couldn’t be more excited to help you on your (personal) training journey and to have the opportunity to help you reach your goals.”

Maddy Foreberg

Paul Carter

Paul Carter specializes in hypertrophy and body recomposition. He coaches pro bodybuilders and elite strength athletes and works with some of the most respected minds in the strength and physique world.

He has written a multitude of books on diet and training including the Maximum Muscle Bible, Base Building, and the XLR8 carb cycling approach to fat loss.

Logan Gelbrich & Deuce Gym

With a background in collegiate (University of San Diego) and professional (San Diego Padres) baseball, Logan is used to high performance, heavy workloads, and accountability.  Over his career, Logan developed a belief system that led him to both the CrossFit Games and Strongman Nationals. These experiences guide his coaching today.

Bonnie Schroeder

Winning my first powerlifting competition at the age of 26 empowered me in a whole new way. Now after countless meets as an athlete and coach, and spending many years in this sport, I can only say thank you to the barbell. It gave me the confidence I needed to step out of my comfort zone time and time again. I hope it does the same for you.

Mike Boyle

Michael Boyle is one of the foremost experts in the fields of Strength and Conditioning, and Functional Training. Prior to co-founding MBSC, Mike served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Boston University for 15 years. He also served as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Boston Bruins, the US Women’s Olympic Ice Hockey Team, and the World Champion Boston Red Sox in 2013.

Brent Fikowski

The mind and body behind the Professor Project. Brent placed second at the CrossFit® Games in 2017 and third in 2021. In 2019, he placed first at the Dubai CrossFit® Championship. For years he has been known as The Professor across the CrossFit® community due to his deliberate and analytical approach to competition and training.

Matt Vincent

Matt is a traveling strength athlete, two-time Highland Games World Champion, and founder of HVIII Brand Goods. Through his travels, Matt was lucky enough to spend time with exceptional people who were chasing strength, fulfillment, and personal growth in every imaginable way. His program Daily Destroyer is built on an underlying philosophy to be 6-8 weeks from READY TO DO ANYTHING.

Over 20 years ago, I began my training journey at Westside Barbell under Louie Simmons.
